What does the Spkeasy app do?
Spkeasy is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) program utilized for assisting non-verbal users in communication via an advanced grid-based system, interactive games for involvement, and user-specified interface. It gives a well-structured communication environment with symbols, words, and phrases to enable users to convey their thoughts, needs, and emotions effectively.
Spkeasy is intended for children and adults with speech disabilities, e.g., autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, apraxia, and other speech disorders. It is also useful for caregivers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and educators.
Is the app free to use?
Spkeasy provides a 7-day free trial of the basic communication features from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After the trial period, you can continue using the app for (TBD) monthly.
How do I download the app?
You can download Spkeasy app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and Simply search for “Spkeasy AAC” and click Install.
Do I need to have an account to use the app?
Yes, Apple ID or Google account is required to download the Spkeasy app.
Does the app support offline features?
Yes! Spkeasy app can be used offline, and you’re still able to communicate without the use of the internet. There are a few features, such as cloud backup and online multiplayer features, which require the internet.
Does the app support various languages?
As of now, Spkeasy will only support English, but we’re planning to integrate other languages soon.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel the subscription at any moment through the App Store (in iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android). Enter your account settings and click “Manage Subscriptions” to terminate.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund rules are operated according to app store policies set forth by Apple and Google. You can, through the respective store’s support page, make a refund if you believe there has been a wrong charge made against you.
Is my data secure, and do you share my data with third parties?
